Outpatient Services

New Beginning Family Services of NC offers:

  • Anger Management Class: Learn to understand what triggers anger in you and work to change the direction and minimize the actions the lead to guilt, regret and eventually legal problems. With the specific tools NBFS will teach, you can learn to replace your old habits with new techniques that will improve your relationships in every area.

  • Substance Abuse Relapse and Prevention Class: Through coping-focused therapeutic group education NBFS strive to teach a drug or alcohol dependent persons coping skills to help them avoid relapsing back to using drugs and/or alcohol.

  • NA Meetings Wednesday 6-7pm & Saturday 9-10am

  • Case Management (Individual Counseling, Housing & Employment Assistance, Safe Syringe Exchange, and Food Bag Voucher)
  • H.O.P.E Outreach (Support Services for victims of Sexual Assault and Abuse, Domestic Violence and Physical Abuse)

  • Peer Support: Peer support programs provide an opportunity for consumers who have achieved significant recovery to assist others in their recovery journeys. Peer specialists model recovery, teach skills and offer supports to help people experiencing mental health challenges lead meaningful lives in the community. Peer specialists promote recovery; enhance hope and social networking through role modeling and activation; and supplement existing treatment with education, empowerment, and aid in system navigation.
  • Psychological Testing
  • Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Assessment
  • Mental Health Services: includes Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, Family Therapy, Parenting Groups and Life Skills Groups.

New Beginning Family Services of NC also offers a Reduced Fee program for those who are Uninsured/Underinsured or who have limited mental health benefits.  Call us for more information on this program.
